Chakra 6 is traditionally called Ajna in the yogic tradition. Ajna translates from Sanskrit to English as "command center". Our mind is our command center and is ultimately a tool we use to critically evaluate our life experiences and shape our perceptions. This energy/power center is located in the center of the forehead and is also considered our "third eye".
Our mind can stay in the realm of typical, status-quo consciousness or be "opened" to expansive mystical experiences through this energy center. Keeping with the tool metaphor, our minds can be sharpened or dulled deepening on the care and maintenance we give it regardless of anything mystical.
